First of all, Cheers! and Welcome to my site!

This website startet out as a project for investigating JAMStacks. Now I am using it as a kind of diary to post some of my projects and findings. Hopefully you arrived here because you found one of my posts useful.

If you have questions that you think I'll be able to answer, you are always welcome to contact me. My mail and social media is displayed in the bottom of the site.

If you want to know a little more about me then I am currently living with my girlfriend in Aarhus, Denmark. For my work life I am Chief Information Officer at DILLING a company that produce and sell clothes with the environment in mind.

Most of my carreer have not been as CIO but in the role as business developer which is also my education but what does a business developer do in a company? That question I have received from ... yea ... almost everybody that have ever asked me about my work.

And actually, I get why it is hard to understand. It is not easy to explain as well but I will give it a try.

I went to Aarhus University to get an education as civil engineer in technology based business development. This education was fairly new and the main goal of the first 3 years was to give a foundation within every aspect of a business. Usually as an engineer you get a deep understanding of a specific topic. This could be electrics, buildings etc. On the other side you have economists and strategists. The education as business developer aim to make a bridge over these different areas of a business, both to give a better overview of the business in general but also to have an understanding of the challenges that can occur from different perspectives when implementing new things or changing business processes.

So basically, in a business I am the guy that knows a little bit of everything. Typical work consists of project management and to ensure that areas of improvement are identified to develop the business.

The role as CIO is actually very similar with technology being a part of everything in a modern company today.

The need of constantly identifying new trends and incorporate it in the business to ensure everything is working and running as a well oiled machine is what drives me. I have had the same motto as long as I can remember "Learn some of everything and everything of something".
